Advocate for a Child

One of our main interests is to identify children who are deemed very bright by the principal‘s standards but for financial reasons have fallen behind in school. Last year, we identified one such child whose mother often was unable to send her child to school because she was unable to pay $100 for both lunch and transportation to and from school; for the year So, as a result her child was absent almost 50% of the school year. We were able to pay for both food and transportation for Elena for the year and not too surprisingly she became second in her fourth-grade class. Your assistance in this category would identify children who fits this criterion and offer support that could make a real difference to their future. Your assistance could mean the difference between finishing high school or becoming a school dropout. Please help us break this cycle of poverty. Your assistance in this category is extremely needed.
